Les Rendez-vous in Paris” is made up of three romantic tales set in different areas of Paris. The first, full of suspense, humour and mischief, “Le Rendez-vous de 7 heures” is set in Montparnasse and Beaubourg. The second, “Les Bancs de Paris”, takes a surprising stroll through the city’s many, often unknown, gardens and parks. The third, “Mère et enfant 1907”, reveals two wonderful young actors. Their love affair has them pursuing each other to the Picasso Museum and through the Marais district. This triptych combines all those themes cherished by Rohmer’s fans: seduction, elegant language and love for a city called Paris.
