Synopsis

Filled with wonder at the sight of shining armour of a group of knights he has mistaken for angels, naive Perceval immediately solves the mystery of his destiny: like them, he will become one of King Arthur’s knights. Valiant astride his horse, he rides from one ordeal to another, obsessed with a dream: that the King will dub him a knight. The film tells a tale of initiation rites: weapons, courtly love, chivalrous friendship and, at the end of a long period of wandering that resembles the Stations of the Cross, Perceval’s discovery of spirituality that is the language of God.
