50 years after the Katyn massacre in which 4,500 Polish officers were executed by Russian soldiers in 1941, the Polish director Marcel Lozinski returns to Katyn with the wives and children of the victims and some survivors. Lozinski is back on the scene: in the forest of Katyn, at the Kozelsk camp in Gniezdovo where the prisoners were interned before being shot.
